Types of Organization Work Performed
In addition to de-cluttering and organization, my services include:
- assigning homework if requested
- asking you to sign a pledge committing to getting organized
- providing green alternatives and/or product suggestions
- coaching during the time we work together
- providing a Clutter Control Plan upon completion of project
- following up two weeks after completion of project to see how changes are working
Professional Organization Services
These include:
● De-Clutter/Organize clutter for your home and/or office
I will help you de-clutter and/or organize your clutter in all areas of your home (closets, kitchens, garages, playrooms, basements, attics, home offices, etc.)
● Downsizing for seniors
I will compassionately work with you to organize and de-clutter.
● Organize your home and/or office
I will help you organize all areas of your home. We will use the organizational products you already own, suggest ways to repurpose everyday items or suggest others, if needed.
● Create filing systems to manage your paperwork
There are multiple ways to organize your paperwork, and file cabinets may or may not be your best choice. Together we will discover what works for you. Once we decide how best to organize your paperwork, I will create a filing/sorting system that (a) is specific to your needs, and (b) enables you to maintain it.
● Take your donated items to a local charity or sell items on ebay or a local consignment shop
Once we have sorted your clutter, I will take any items you wish to donate to the local charity of your choice (the charity must accept drop-off donations and the items need to be acceptable to the charity). I will mail the receipt for the donations to you. Or if you would prefer to make some money I will sell your items on ebay or bring them to a consignment shop.
● For Home Sellers – Organizing
It’s a tough housing market and competition is fierce. And first impressions are everything. From the moment a prospective buyer walks in your door, you home has to wow them. Buyers must be able to picture themselves in your home. Let me help you remove the clutter that could cost you thousands of dollars in lower bids. I will clean and organize every room so that buyers aren’t distracted by clutter and can see the true value of your home.
● Moving In
You have enough to worry about having just moved to Raleigh. I will unpack and get you organized so you can hit the ground running in a clutter free home!
● Organizing estates
The death of a loved one is painful enough; let me ease your burden. Sometimes people do not want to deal with someone else’s belongings. I can organize items to be donated, sold or for family members.
Make no mistake, clutter is a force to be reckoned with. Because clutter is often not just an issue of the objects you accumulate, but the emotions you accumulate. Clutter can keep you stuck in old patterns and negative emotions.
Clutter is not only a physical weight, it’s an emotional weight. For instance, if you have fears of failure or success, clutter can overwhelm you and keep you from even trying to pursue your dream. If you have had trauma as a child, clutter can become a barrier that keeps you from inviting people into your home and your life. If you feel that scarcity is the norm, clutter can create the illusion of having a “safety cushion,” when in reality, it’s keeping you from abundance.
The good news is that de-cluttering and organizing can help you move forward in your life. Once the weight of the clutter is gone, you can create a relaxed environment in which you have space to think, plan and dream. When you remove the physical obstructions, you often remove emotional ones as well. Areas of your life that have been shut down or on hold, can open up and flow with ease.
